Here's the people you will meet when you call or visit our office!

William R DeSollar II, CPCU, CLU joined the agency after completing a B.A. and M.S. in Finance and Economics at the University of Illinois.  Bill works mainly with Commercial Insurance, although he actively participates in all other areas as well.  He also serves as the agency manager and managing Real Estate Broker.

Joseph A DeSollar received his degree in Business Administration from Monmouth College.  He joined the agency in 1980, after spending 10 years as a banker in Beardstown.  He spent a year as an area manager for a master marketing association for multi-peril crop insurance in Illinois.  In addition to being a key part of the firm's real estate division, Joe actively takes part in all other lines of the agency's insurance.

Michael J DeSollar (J.J.) is the fourth generation of DeSollar's to serve the community.  After studying Business Administration at Illinois College, he worked in North Carolina as vice-president of sales for an industrial environmental chemical manufacturer.  J.J. returned home to join our agency in 1991 as a specialist in Life and Health Insurance. He's also licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance.

Ryan Miller is the newest member of the DeSollar & Wessler Bros Agency.  He currently lives in Concord with his wife Abbie and one daughter, Anna.  Previously, he worked for Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a Sales Consultant in central Illinois and has worked for Wessler Bros. Insurance Agency in Arenzville.  Ryan graduated from Millikin University in 2003 with a B.A. in Finance.  Ryan is licensed in all lines of Insurance and is also a licensed Real Estate Broker.

Carol McCombs handles all aspects of personal lines insurance, including quoting, changes, and claims.  Direct link to insurance companies' computers allows Carol to provide quick answers to questions about home, auto and related insurance.  Carol is fully licensed in Property-Casualty and Life-Health Insurance.   She is a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative.

Marge Shaw is a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative.  Marge has an excellent working knowledge of the overall agency as well as serving as the agency's resident computer wizard.

Sara Brockschmidt is our newest Personal Lines Customer Service Representative.  After graduating from WIU with a B.A. in Finance, Sara worked for a bank in Jacksonville for the past 5 years.  She's licensed in Property-Casualty Insurance and will be glad to help with all your personal insurance needs.
